Assisting in a low touch world

Siena House describes itself as a temporary residence for families who are searching for suitable and affordable housing. It is funded primarily through a contract with New York City's Department of Homeless Services.

The staff at Siena House work tirelessly to assist homeless women and their young children (under the age of 3) to "move from a situation of homelessness and poverty to independence and self-worth."

"We support all efforts that empower women to a fuller participation in society and enhance their human dignity."

Their website states: Siena House provides a safe, clean environment for women and their children while giving them support and guidance. The shelter also provides Case Management Services, housing placement assistance, limited on-site child care, women's health workshops and creative workshops.

We at Saturn Solutions share Siena House's mission to empower women and enhance their human dignity. We sent them some of our Tiaawa J masks at no cost to them… as we heard they were low on their supplies..

Siena House does such great things for such vulnerable women.

If you are interested in helping these women as well...please consider donating via: http://sienahouseshelter.weebly.com/donate.html

As we emerge from shelter in place orders, we are still discouraged from touching one another…but...let not that directive also discourage us from reaching out to those in need.
